FAITH
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
SUNDAYS
WHAT TO EXPECT
Currently, we meet at 10:30 am for worship.
WORSHIP
We sing ancient and modern hymns, contemporary choruses, and emphasize scripture reading, creeds, confessions, prayers, and sacraments in our worship. We encourage vibrant, corporate participation to encourage one another by “addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.” (Ephesians 5:19)
PREACHING
We place a high priority on preaching believing it is God’s word to God’s people. Expect sermons that explain and apply Bible passages with clarity and care.
COMMUNION
We serve the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of every month. We believe the Lord’s supper is a sacred sign pointing us to God’s gospel - the person and work of Jesus Christ.
DRESS
As silly as it seems, this issue has actually split churches! We want you to be clothed in Christ. Other than that, provided you do not violate the laws of the State of Mississippi, come as you are. Some wear ties and coats, some wear jeans and sandals, some wear tattoos, and some wear onesies!
KIDS?
We believe Christ's body is diverse, which includes children. Our children are welcome to remain in worship, but a “children’s church” and nursery are available for parents of children, infant through 5-years.
DOUBTS?
Absolutely. The Church is the only venue to adequately engage our doubts, clarify our concerns, or address our issues. You are welcome.
PARKING
The map below shows the various parking options on Sunday mornings. We try to save the South Lot for New Guests & people needing special assistance. The North Lot 2 and street parking are available for all.
